About Me
Ron has been coaching for over 25 as a team and GK coach in youth, collegiate and semiprofessional soccer. He is the cofounder and current Director of the Last Defense Goalkeeping Academy and an Assistant coach for the boys and girls varsity teams at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, GA. During his career, he has coached at several institutions like Pace Academy where he won a state championship in 2014, and at Walton HS in Marietta GA. At the collegiate level, Ron served as an assistant/GK coach at his alma mater, New York Institute of Technology, at Oglethorpe University as well as Georgia State University. At the semipro level he also held the same positions for the Atlanta Silverbacks women team of the WPSL and was the Head coach of the Atlanta Panthers women team in the UWS league in their inaugural season in 2021. As a youth coach, Ron was the Technical Director for the Georgia Rush soccer club, the Girls Director of Coaching for the Metro North Youth Soccer Association, and a Staff Coach at the Tophat soccer club.
Ron holds several coaching licenses, including the USSF “A”, the USSF National Youth, and the USSF National Goalkeeping licenses.
