Membership in the 11th Department
Membership in the 11th Department means connecting with fellow Haitians and Friends of Haiti from around the globe on our social network platform to work together, or stay informed, on Haitian Diaspora-led initiatives in partnership with Haitians in Haiti and our partners.
Membership in the 11th Department also provides you access to an organization whose purpose is to provide you with the tools and support you need to bring your projects to life.
As a Member, you will not only contribute to the development of Haiti by supporting everyone's efforts, but gain pride in doing something meaningful and productive.
You can choose your level of membership based on how active, or passive, you would like to be, as well as how visible you would like to be if you are a nonprofit organization, company, or government agency.

How will 11th Department funds be used?
Monies collected from memberships will be used to cover organizational expenses, such as staff pay, materials and supplies, the 11th Department Platform (made up of the seven Diaspora Regions and Haiti's 10 Departments), the Nonprofit Ecosystem, regulatory and legal fees, and other expenses necessary to sustain the organization. Any overages will be dedicated to supporting Diaspora Projects.
The majority of funds will be spent to support the projects selected by Regional Committee members, and approved by the Global Committee.
The 11th Department will provide complete transparency on the use of funds collected via memberships, donations, grants, and other means.
